Make the cursor return to its start position after playback:

1. Left click on "Setup" then "Preferences…" on the Pro Tools menu bar.
2. Left click on the "Operation" tab.
3. Left click in the box to the left of "Timeline Insertion/Play Start Marker Follows Playback to remove the check mark.
4. Left click on the "OK" button to save your changes.
