Make a Track Inactive - Pro Tools

Pro Tools Quick Start for PC

In the Edit or Mix windows:

  1. Right-click on the track name button.
  2. Left click on "Make Inactive" in the menu.

Make a track inactive in the mix window of Pro Tools.

In the Mix Window:

  1. Press and hold down the Ctrl and Windows Logo keys on your keyboard.
  2. Left-click on the tracks "Type icon" in the Mix window. I've drawn a red line around the Track Type icon in the image below.
