Make a Track Inactive - Pro Tools

In the Edit or Mix windows:

  1. Right click on the track name button.
  2. Left click on "Make Inactive" on the menu.

Make a track inactive in the mix window of Pro Tools.

In the Mix Window:

  1. Press and hold down the Ctrl and Windows key on your keyboard.
  2. Left click on the tracks "type icon" in the Mix window. I've drawn a red line around the track type icon in the image below.
