Delete a Fade - Pro Tools

How to delete a fade:

Method 1

  1. Left click in the bottom half of the fade area to select it.

  1. Press the DEL (delete) or BACKSPACE key on your keyboard.

OR

  1. Right click the selected fade area and choose "Delete Fades" from the menu.

Method 2

  1. Select a section that includes the fade area.

  1. Right click within the selection and choose "Delete Fades" from the menu.

To make a selection within a track:

  1. Press and hold down your left mouse button.
  2. Drag your mouse/edit cursor in the direction you want to select.
  3. Release your left mouse button once you've made your selection.
